Biography

Yello is a Swiss electronica, synthpop and new wave band that was originally formed in 1980 by Boris Blank (keyboards, sampling, percussion, backing vocals) and Carlos Perón (tapes). Dieter Meier (vocals, lyrics) was brought in when the two founders realised that they needed a singer. Born to a millionaire family, Meier is not only a performance artist, but a millionaire industrialist, a professional poker player, and also one time member of the Swiss national golf team. Dieter also was a guest artist on the X-Press 2 album Muzikizum. Perón left the band in 1983 to start a solo career. They rarely use samples from previously released music. The band's music has been popular in the TV, advertisement and movie industries. They released one of their most successful albums, Baby, in 1991. The album produced several singles such as "On the Run", "Sweet Thunder" and "Blender". And now, you may download this album by Yello in mp3 from our site.
