Biography

UB40 is a British reggae band that was formed in Birmingham, England, in 1978. The groups members are James (Jimmy) Brown (drums), Ali Campbell (guitar, lead vocals), Robin Campbell (lead guitar, vocals), Earl Falconer (bass guitar, vocals), Norman Hassan (percussion, trombone, vocals), Brian Travers (saxophone, Lyricon, wind synth), Mickey Virtue (keyboards) and Astro (toasting vocals, percussion, trumpet). They started their professional music career as a support act for the Chrissie Hynde's band, The Pretenders. Today, they are considered as the one of the most commercially successful reggae groups of all time. The are well known for their number one hit singles such as "Red Red Wine", "Can't Help Falling in Love", "The Way You Do the Things You Do" and "I Got You Babe".
