British Indie band The Twang comes from Birmingham, England and was formed in 2001 by Phil Etheridge and Jon Watkin. Current band’s line-up composes of Phil Etheridge, Martin Saunders, Jon Watkin, Matty Clinton and Stu Hartland. The band was also known under another name. At first they were called Neon Twang, but changed the name for Twang. The first real success happened when the influential music magazine NME wrote the article about music scene in the west Midlands. This led the band to enter the BBC News website’s Sound Poll and to come second. The debut album Love It When I Feel Like This was released in 2007 and produced by Gavin Monaghan who had worked with Robert Plant, The Holloways, Scott Matthews and others.
