Mark Twain, real name Samuel Langhorne Clemens was an American author and humorist, born on November 30, 1935 in Florida, Missouri, the United States and died on April 21, 1910 in Redding, Connecticut, the United States. He is remembered for such his books like The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Some people consider the latter book to be the greatest in all American literature. Mark Twain was very popular during his lifetime. He was a friend to presidents, European Royalty, artists, and famous industrialists. The first book that earned a success was a non-fiction book titled “The Innocents Abroad”. It is abased on his voyage in Europe.
