The current band’s line-up consists of Shigeru Joshima (guitarist and leader of Tokio, the founding member of the band), Tomoya Nagase (lead vocalist and guitarist), Masahiro Matsuoka (drummer), Taichi Kokubun (keyboards) and of Tatsuya Yamaguchi (bassist). During its career the band was signed to Sony Music Entertainment from 1994 to 2001, to Universal Music Japan from 2001 to 2008 and currently they are signed to J-Storm, a label owned by Johny & Associates. The band has released 11 studio albums, 2 compilation albums, 1 cover album, 1 extended play, and 44 singles.
