Biography

The Suicide Machines were an American punk rock band from Detroit, Michigan, the United States. The band was founded in 1991 by Jason Navarro on vocals, Dan Lukacinsky on guitar, Jason Brake on bass, and Stefan Rairigh on drums. At first, it was known under the moniker Jack Kevorkian and the Suicide Machines. Later it was changed just for the Suicide Machines. The band broke up in 2006 and since that time, they have reunited only once for a concert in Detroit in the late 2009. The band’s style can de described as punk rock, ska punk and hardcore punk. The band was politically active. Their fifth album A Match and Some Gasoline was critical to the president Bush Administration for the terrorist attacks on September 11 and on the war in Iraq.
