Biography

Staind is an American hard rock/alternative rock band. Staind formed in 1995 in Springfield, Massachusetts. The band consists of Aaron Lewis (lead vocals, rhythm guitar, acoustic guitar), Mike Mushok (lead guitar), Johnny April (bass, backup vocals) and Jon Wysocki (drums). The band met through friends and started covering Korn, Rage Against the Machine, Pearl Jam, Tool, and Alice in Chains, among others, in smalltime clubs for a year and a half. Staind gained popularity in 2001 with their album, Break the Cycle, which you may download in mp3 from our site. The album yielded the hit singles, "It's Been Awhile", "Fade" and "For You". Break the Cycle, performed well worldwide, particularly in the United States. It has sold about 6 million in the U.S. The group also collaborated with many bands and artists such as Cold, Limp Bizkit, Nickelback and 3 Doors Down.
