Biography

An English ska band the Specials (or The Special AKA) was formed in 1977 in Coventry, England. The band splited in 1981 but decided to reunite for celebration of their 30 years and for a grand tour in 2009. The group consists of Jerry Dammers, Terry Hall, Neville Staple, Horace Panter, Roddy Byers, Lynval Golding and John Bradbury. The group reached its popularity between 1979 and 1981. Their main hits are Too much, Too young, Ghost town, Free Nelson Mandella. They collaborated with such back vocalists as Chrissie Hynde, Rhoda Dakar, Belinda Carlisle, Jane Wiedlin and Charlotte Caffey. You can download all The Specials albums from our site in mp3. The Specials split in 1981 but they decided to reunite for some tours in 2008. The debut self-titled album The Specials was reissued in July 2009.
