Biography

British rock band Sons and Daughters was formed in 2003 in Glasgow, Scotland in 2003. The idea to create the band belongs to Adele Bethel. The initial line-up composed of Bethel, David Gow and Ailidh Lennon. The current band’s members are Adele Bethel – vocals, guitar, piano, David Gow – drums, percussion, Ailidh Lennon – bass, mandolin, piano and Scott Paterson – vocals, guitar. The debut band’s release was a self-financed Love the Cup EP. The debut album The The Repulsion Box was released in 2005. The group was noticed and they got the offer to support Morrissey. The next album released in 2008 is titled This Gift. The album reached number 66 on the UK Albums chart. The single "Darling/This Gift" peaked at number 86. The album was produced by Bernard Butler.
