Snakeskin is a solo project of Lacrimosa bandleader Tilo Wolff. Stylistically, it’s a fuse of gothic, electronic and industrial music. Snakeskin appeared in 2004 in Switzerland. The debut singles were distributed at summer gothic music festivals in Switzerland. At that time, Snakeskin was an unknown act and Tilo Wolff didn’t reveal that it was his solo project. The debut singles were “I Am the Dark” and “Melissa”. Melissa also contained the remix made by a famous figure in electronic music KiEw. The debut album “Music for the lost” was released later in 2004 and quickly became popular among the gothic audience. The secret of the person under Snakeskin moniker was revealed by Public Propaganda who told about common person working in Lacrimosa and Snakeskin, i.e. Tilo Wolff. Later Wolff confirmed that it was his solo project indeed. You can download Snakeskin’s albums in mp3 from our site.
