Biography

American rock band Silvertide was founded in 2001 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the United States. Originally, the band was formed under another name, namely Vertigo. The first line-up consisted of lead singer Walt Lafty, lead guitarist Nick Perri, rhythm guitarist Mark Melchiorre, drummer Kevin Frank and bassist Brian Weaver. The band broke through to the music business after they had opened for Aerosmith during their world tour. The band was signed by Clive Davis’ J Records and they quickly began recording their material. The debut EP American Excess was released in 2003. Afterwards, they recorded and released their debut album Show and Tell (2004). That year, the band toured with Van Halen. You can download Silvertide’s debut album in mp3 from our site.
