Biography

Santana is an American blues-rock/jazz/rock band from San Francisco, California. It was formed in 1966. The group comprises a flexible number of musicians accompanying Carlos Santana. In 1999, Santana released their album, Supernatural, which won eight Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year, and which you may download in mp3 from our site. The album included the hit "Smooth", which featured Matchbox Twenty lead singer Rob Thomas on vocals, and was number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for 12 weeks. The next single, "Maria Maria" (which featured The Product G&B), was number 1 on the same chart for ten weeks. Carlos Santana and Rob Thomas won 2 Grammys for their collaboration on the song "Smooth". The band also collaborated with various artists and band such as Eric Clapton, Eagle-Eye Cherry, Lauryn Hill, Dave Matthews, and Cee-Lo.
