Roy Orbison, birth name Roy Kelton Orbison was an American rock and roll singer-songwriter and one of the most influential rock musicians in the music history. He was born on April 23, 1936 in Vernon, Texas and died of heart attack on December 6, 1988 in Hendersonville, Tennessee, the U.S. aged 52. Roy Orbison is known for such his hits like Oh, Pretty Woman, Only the Lonely (Know the Way I Feel), Mean Woman Blues, It’s Over, You Got it and many others. The peak of his career was during the 60s when 22 of his songs entered the top 40. His career stagnated in 70s mainly because his wife died in car accident and later two of three their children died as well. Though he returned in 1980s joining the supergroup The Traveling Wilburys with George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty and Jeff Lynne.
