Biography

Puscifer is an American post-industrial, experimental, trip hop and comedy rock Maynard James Keenan's side project that is active since 2003. Maynard James Keenan (birth name James Herbert Keenan) is an American progressive metal, alternative rock and industrial hard rock singer, songwriter, musician and record producer. He is also a member of two rock bands such as Tool and A Perfect Circle. Puscifer is considered a pseudonym for Maynard James Keenan's solo work. In 2007, he released his first breakthrough album, "V" Is for Vagina, which yielded the singles, "Queen B." and "DoZo". It also reached number 25 on the Billboard 200 chart and number 1 on the Billboard Indie chart. The album's first single, "Queen B.", peaked at number 26 on the Billboard Hot Modern Rock Tracks chart and received good reviews from critics. On that album, he collaborated with various artists including Lustmord, Jonny Polonski, Tim Alexander, Tim Commerford, Brad Wilk, Joey Jordison, Ainjel Emme among others.
