Biography

Pat Benatar (birth name Patricia Mae Andrzejewski) is an American rock, hard rock, pop rock, blues, opera and new wave singer. She was born on January 10, 1953, in Brooklyn, New York, USA. Her big break came in 1975 at an amateur night at the renowned comedy club Catch a Rising Star in New York. Her rousing rendition of Judy Garland's "Rock-a-Bye Your Baby With a Dixie Melody" earned her a call back by club owner Rick Newman, who would become her manager. Her debut album, In the Heat of the Night, was released in 1979 and it peaked at number 12 on the Billboard 200. In 1980, she achieved mainstream success with her best selling album, Crimes of Passion, which produced several hit singles such as "Hit Me with Your Best Shot", "You Better Run", "Treat Me Right" and "Wuthering Heights". This album also peaked at number 2 on the Billboard 200. And now, you may download Pat Benatar's breakthrough album, Crimes of Passion, in mp3 from our site.
