American rock band The New Radicals was formed in Los Angeles, California, the United States in 1997. The group disbanded quite soon in 1999. The founder, leader and the main creative force of the band was Gregg Alexander who was singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist. There was no stable line-up and other members were “come and go” session musicians with exception of Danielle Brisebois who was back vocalist, percussionist and even co-author of the band’s single “Someday We’ll Know”. She took part in recording, live shows and music videos. The band released only one album “Maybe You’ve Been Brainwashed Too” which contained both radio friendly songs and some critic towards corporate America. The album yielded a single “You Get What You Give” peaking at number 36 on the Billboard 100 and number 5 on the UK Singles chart.
