Biography

Nevermore are an American heavy metal and death metal band from Seattle, Washington that was founded in 1991. the band’s current line-up comprises Wanel Dane (lead vocals, keyboards), Jeff Locomis (lead guitar, backing vocals), Jim Sheppard (bass guitar) and Van Williams (drums, percussion). Their music style is hardly to define because it is a blend of various styles such as progressive metal, heavy metal and death metal with elements of grunge music sounds. In the beginning, they performed as Sanctuary. During that time, they played only heavy metal. Their record company wanted them to diversify their music style. They recruited several new members and changed the band’s name. They also started to write new songs and compose new music, which both were heavily influenced by various music styles such as death metal and grunge. They quickly gained popularity in the early 1990s with their breakthrough debut self0titled album which produced the band’s first hits such as "Sea of Possibilities", "The Hurting Words", "Timothy Leary" and "Godmoney". It also was highly praised by critics. Now, you may download Nevermore’s self-titled album in mp3 from our site.
