Nancy Wilson is an American jazz, pop, blues and cabaret singer born on February 20, 1937 in Chillicothe, Ohio. She began her professional music career in the late 1950s dropping out of a college. She successfully auditioned for Rusty Bryant's Carolyn Club Big Band and toured with them in Canada and in the US. Then she moved to New York in order to pursue a solo career. She received her first Grammy Award in 1964 for the album How Glad I Am as the best rhythm and blues recording. She could continue her success only in 2000s. She won two more Grammys for Best Jazz Vocal Album for her records Turned to Blue and R.S.V.P. (Rare Songs, Very Personal). You can download Nancy Wilson’s album R.S.V.P. in mp3 from our site.
