American rock group Mute Math, written also as MuteMath or MUTEMATH was formed in New Orleans, Louisiana, the United States in 2003. The band’s history began in 2001 from the collaboration between Paul Meany and Darren King who had known each other from their work in Meany’s previous band Earthsuit. After Earthsuit split, the two decided to continue their collaboration and recruited Greg Hill on guitar. Now the band’s line up consists of these musicians including a forth member Roy Mitchell-Cárdenas. The band’s achievement is a Grammay Award nomination for “Best Short Form Music Video”. The band has released two studio albums so far. The last one Armistice debuted at number 18 on the Billboard 200 and charted at #4 on Billboard Rock and at #3 on Billboard Digital Albums.
