Moya Brennan (birth name Máire Philomena Ní Bhraonáin) is an Irish traditional music, Celtic, folk and new age singer, songwriter and musician. She was born on 4 August 1952, in Gweedore, County Donegal, Ireland. She is often credited as the "First Lady of Celtic Music". She rose to fame in 1970 as a vocalist of her family formed the band Clannad. The band is well known for a collection of hit singles such as "Theme from Harry's Game", "I See Red/Tá Mé 'Mo Shuí", "Newgrange", "Robin (The Hooded Man)", "Now Is Here", "Closer to Your Heart", "Almost Seems (Too Late to Turn)" and "In a Lifetime". She achieved mainstream success in the late 1990s with her Grammy Award nominated album, Perfect Time, which produced several hits such as "Heal This Land", "The Big Rock", "Perfect Time" and "The Light On The Hill".
