American pop and rock singer-songwriter Marc Broussard comes from Carencro, Louisiana, the United States and was born on January 14, 1982. He is a son of a famous musician Ted Broussard who was inducted in the Louisiana Hall of Fame. Marc performs in a style, which mixtures funk, blues, rock, pop and R&B and all that has distinctive southern roots. Marc’s most popular album is his third release S.O.S.: Save Our Soul, which almost entirely composes of cover songs. The only one original song is “Come In From The Cold”. On this album, Broussard covers songs by such musicians like Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Sam Cooke, Al Green and some others. The album is the only one in his career, which could enter the Billboard 200 (reached number 96). The last album out of four was released in 2008.
