Biography

American country music artist and singer-songwriter Lee Greenwood was born on October 27, 1942 in South Gate, California, the United States. He is best known for his hit single “God Bless the USA” which gained the first popularity in the early 80s and later during the operation “Desert Storm” and after the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. However, Greenwood was criticized for this song as he has never served in army. Besides this hit single Greenwood is also for his number 1 hits such as "Somebody's Gonna Love You", "Going, Going, Gone", "Dixie Road", "I Don't Mind the Thorns (If You're the Rose)", "Don't Underestimate My Love for You", "Hearts Aren't Made to Break (They're Made to Love)", and "Mornin' Ride". One of his albums Streamline reached number 1 on the Country chart. You can download All Time Greatest Hits of Lee Greenwood in mp3 from our site.
