Biography

American children music artist Laurie Berkner was born in March 1969 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France (her parents are Americans). She was growing up in Princeton, New Jersey and since her childhood, she was involved in different choirs, bands and so son. She toured Europe as a choir soloist and orchestral guitar player. Later she began a professional music career in rock playing in the all-female cover band Lois Lane. She also played in the band Red Onion which wrote the original music. There she found out that writing songs was a pain. However when she tried to write for children, it appeared to be easy for her. Thus, she focused on the children’s music. Berkner has her own band Laurie Berkner Band. They have released 5 studio albums. One of them is Victor Vito (1999). You can download this album by Laurie Berkner in mp3 from our site.
