Danish pop group Laid Back comes from Copenhagen, Denmark. The band was formed in 1979 by John Gildberg (vocals, guitar, bass) and by Tim Stahl (vocals, keyboards, drums and bass). The band rose to fame at the beginning of the 1980s when they released their two hit albums, debut Laid Back and second album Keep Smiling. The first album made them real stars in their home country thanks to the single “Maybe I’m Crazy” which topped Danish charts. The second album Keep Smiling broke them through to the mainstream success outside of their country. The song “Sunshine Reggae” became a number one hit in Italy, Western Germany and in many other countries. The B-side “White Horse” became the only band’s big hit in the U.S. The last band’s album is Happy Dreamer released in 2004. You can download Laid Back’s last album in mp3 from our site.
