Biography

Eurodance and dance-pop group La Bouche was formed by German producer Frank Farian in 1994. The original group’s line up comprised two Americans Melanie Thornton and Lane McCray. The debut single “Sweet Dreams” was released in 1994. The single quickly gained the popularity for the group and became all-European and Australian hit. It was followed by the next single “Be My Lover” in 1995. That was the real breakthrough taking into account that the single hit the Billboard Hot 100 reaching number 6. It topped the charts in several European countries and hit the top5 and top 10 in many others. The two singles feature the group’s debut album Sweet Dreams. The album was certified 5 times Platinum and 9 times Gold around the world. You can download this album by La Bouche in mp3 from our site. Thornton left the band in 2000 and they didn’t achieve the same popularity as before.
