Biography

Keith Sweat is an American R&B and soul singer-songwriter and record producer. He was born on July 22, 1961, in Harlem, New York. At the age of 14, he joined to well-known Harlem band Jamilah. The participation in this band brought him a contract with Elektra Records. In 1987, he released his breakthrough debut album, Make It Last Forever, which produced several singles such as "I Want Her" and "Make It Last Forever" (featuring Jacci McGhee). It also received very good reviews from critics. He continued the success with his following album, I'll Give All My Love to You, which yielded the singles, "Make You Sweat" and "I'll Give All My Love to You". In 1996, he released his best-selling and multi-platinum self-titled album, which spawned the hit singles, "Nobody" (featuring Athena Cage), "Just A Touch" (featuring Traci Hale) and "Twisted" (featuring Pretty Russ & Kut Klose).
