Biography

American musician and singer-songwriter John Clayton Mayer was born on October 16, 1977 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA. He began his career as acoustic musician but then turned to blues collaborating with such celebrities as B.B. King, Buddy Guy and Eric Clapton. John Mayer rose to fame before these collaborations while releasing his album Rooms for Squares which yielded a hit single Your Body is a Wonderland which you can download in mp3 from our site. The album became 4 x platinum in the US, 2 x platinum in Canada and platinum in Australia. His next studio works Heavier Things and Continuum became popular as well. Apart from solo career Mayer formed a John Mayer Trio with bassist Pino Palladino and drummer Steve Jordan playing blues and they were an opening act for The Rolling Stones. John Mayer has two Grammy Awards as Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.
