Jeff Beck (birth name Geoffrey Arnold "Jeff" Beck) is an English blues-rock, jazz fusion, instrumental rock, hard rock and electronica musician and songwriter. He was born on 24 June 1944, in Wallington, England. He quickly gained popularity in the early 1960s as a guitarist of The Yardbirds. During this time, he performed along with Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page. Now, he is considered as one of the greatest guitarists of all time. In the early 1970, he decided to start a solo career and released his debut album, Blow by Blow, which was highly praised by critics and was a huge success. It also yielded several hit singles including "She's a Woman" and "Freeway Jam". Blow by Blow peaked at number 4 in the US.
