Biography

American Christian rock band Jars of Clay was formed an Greenville College, Greenville, Illinois, the United States in 1993. The band composes of Dan Haseltine on vocals, Charlie Lowell on piano and keyboards, Stephen Mason on lead guitars and Matthew Odmark on rhythm guitars. The band doesn’t have permanent drummer and bassist but Jeremy Lutito and Gabe Ruschival of Disappointed By Candy assist the band during the live concerts. The band rose to fame for the first when the won the competition organized by Gospel Music Assosiation. They dropped the school and decided to began a serious music career. The band was signed by Essential Records and soon they released their debut self-titled album Jars of Clay. Adrian Belew of King Crimson helped them to produce their two singles Liquid and Flood.
