James Joseph Brown Jr. known just as James Brown was an American soul, rhythm and blues, rock’ n’ roll singer, songwriter, dancer and entertainer. He was born on may 3, 1933 in Barnwell, South Carolina, United States and died on December 25, 2006 in Atlanta, Georgia, the U.S. He is recognized as one of the most influential figures in the music industry of the 20th century. He is often called “Godfather of Soul”, Mr. Please Please Please and Mr. Dynamite. Peak of his music career was in 1965 when many of hits were released. They are a ballad “It’s a Man’s, Man’s, Man’s World”, I Got You (I Feel Good) and Papa’s Got a Brand New Bag which earned the Grammy Award. It’s said that Brown wrote the first ever composition in the funk style but the music historians argue about what composition it was and most of them think that it was “Cold Sweat”.
