Biography

HIM is an alternative rock band that was formed in 1991, in Helsinki, Finland. The group consists of Ville Valo, Mikko Lindström ("Linde"), Mikko Paananen ("Mige"), Janne Puurtinen ("Burton") and Mika Karppinen ("Gas"). Their debut album, Greatest Lovesongs Vol. 666, was released in 1997. It included covers of Chris Isaak's "Wicked Game" and Blue Oyster Cult's "(Don't Fear) The Reaper". But the band rose to fame with their second album, Razorblade Romance (1999), which reached #1 on German sales charts, going platinum, and is the biggest-selling single in Finnish music history. From our site you may download HIM's breakthrough album, Razorblade Romance, in mp3. In 2007, the band took the stage with Linkin Park and various other acts, such as My Chemical Romance, Placebo, Mindless Self Indulgence, The Bled, Styles of Beyond, and Madina Lake for that year's Projekt Revolution.
