Harry Connick Jr., birth name Joseph Harry Fowler Connick Jr. was born on September 11, 1967 in New Orleans, Louisiana, the United States. He is an American actor, singer, jazz pianist and composer for big-bands. In 1989-1998 he was an active vocalist and jazz orchestra leader. He also recorded several swing albums and film soundtracks. At the end of 90s, he focused on his actor work. He starred in such films like New in Town, P.S. I Love You, Life Without Dick, My Dog Skip, The iron Giant, Hope Floats, Will & Grace, Independence Day, Little Man Tate, Memphis Belle and some others. He has received three Grammy Awards and one Emmy Award.
