Hank Williams, birth name Hiram King Williams (September 17, 1923 Mount Olive, Alabama – January 1, 1953 Oak Hill, West Virginia) was a great American country music singer, songwriter and musician. He’s also a pioneer of the honky tonc style. He released numerous hits which became classics of country music. Some of them are Lovesick Blues, Why Don’t You Love Me, Long Gone Lonesome Blues, Moanin’ the Blues, Cold, cold Heart, Hey Good Lookin’, Jambalaya (On the Bayou), I’ll Never Get Out of This World Alive and many more.
