The Goo Goo Dolls is an American alternative rock and post-grunge band that was formed in 1987, in Buffalo, New York. The group consists of John Rzeznik, Robby Takac and Mike Malinin. The Goo Goo Dolls became famous in 1995 with their album, A Boy Named Goo, which you may download in mp3 from our site. The album spawned five singles: "Only One", "Flat Top", "Naked", "Long Way Down" and "Name". The song "Name" is well-known as the band's first hit. The band's sixth album, Dizzy Up the Girl, was released in 1998, and you also may download it in mp3 from our site. In most parts of the world, Dizzy Up the Girl is the band's most successful album to date, selling over 3 million copies (3x platinum certified). The album produced five hit singles: "Iris" (US #9), "Slide" (US #8), "Broadway" (US #24), "Black Balloon" (US #16) and "Dizzy" (US #108). "Iris" reached #1 on the Billboard Modern Rock chart and the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, along with several other charts in the U.S and U.K, and included 3 Grammy nominations.
