Biography

Francisco Javier Bautista, Jr known under his stage name Frankie J. is a Mexican American Latin artist. He was born on December 7, 1978 in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. He rose to fame when he was a member of Kumbia Kings and performed under the name Cisko, though later he changed it for Frankie J. In 2003 he left the band and began his solo career releaseg albums in English and in Spanish. Being a native Spanish speaker he released several hit songs in the States, they are Don’t Wanna Try in 2003 and Obsession in 2006. He performed along with many Latin celebrities, like Don Omar, Paola Turbay, Edgar Lopez and others. He was also an opening act for Britney Spears’s 2007 promo tour The M+M's Tour.
