Biography

American punk rock and street punk band Fank was formed in 1981 and hails from Berkeley, California. The band members are Sam 'Sammytown' McBirde, Tom Flynn, Joel Fox and Chris "C. W." Wilson. The band’s debut album and EP Landshark and Where The wild Things Are are considered to be punk classics of the punk rock east bay area. You can download these classical albums by Fang in mp3 from our site. The band is known to record their second LP Spun Helga in West Germany. Their next released was entitled “A Mi Ga Sfafas?" which literally means “Give Me Head?” in Yougoslavian. The band broke up in 1989 due to the imprisoning of the band’s frontman Sam McBride who had killed his girlfreind Dixie Lee Carney. During this inevitable hiatus, Green Day overed one of their songs “I Want To Be on TV”. McBride released in 1995, changed his name for Sammytown anf reformed the band.
