English pop singer Emma Bunton, birth name Emma Lee Bunton was born on January 21, 1976 in Finchley, London, the UK. Bunton was a member of a very successful girl group Spice Girls that was extremely popular in the 90s. The group broke up in 2000, later reunited for the Return of the Spice Girls tour but they haven’t released any new material. Bunton decided to pursue a solo career after the split of the girl band. She released her debut album A Girl Like Me in 2001 and quickly broke up the charts. The album yielded a hit single number one title "What Took You So Long? (#1 in the UK and New Zealand). Other singles were "What I Am" with Tin Tin Out, "Take My Breath Away" and "We're Not Gonna Sleep Tonight" and a minor hit "A Girl Like Me". Since then, she couldn’t repeat the same success.
