Biography

Digger was an American pop punk and metal band that was formed in 1995 by Phil Nelson (vocals, guitar), Chris Benner (guitar, vocals), Matt Gregorec (vocals, bass) and Mike "Maniac" Fisher (drums). The band's later members were Ben Stephens (bass), Garrett Hoskins (guitar), Warren Cooke (bass) and Tim Wright (guitar). Upon the event of the band's live recording being played on WMUH- NJ the word of the band spread quickly, which led to the band's sign to Hopeless Records, in 1996. They made their debut the following year with the LP Powerbait. In early 2003, the band was forced to cancel its nationwide tour supporting the record when bassist Ben Stephens and guitarist Garrett Hoskins suddenly left to pursue other interests, Benner and then-drummer Mike Kelly instead looked for replacements. From our site you may download Digger's album, Stronger Than Ever, in mp3. The album produced several singles, "Wanna Get Close", "Moonriders", "I Don't Need Your Love" and "Stand Up And Rock".
