Biography

English rock band Cure was formed in Crawley, England in 1976. The band was formed by Robert Smith, Mick Dempsey and Lol Tolhurst. Since that time, only Richard Smith has remained in the band. The current band members are Robert Smith (lead vocals, guitar, keyboards), Porl Thompson (guitar, keyboards), Simon Gallup (bass guitar, keyboards) and Jason Cooper (drums, percussion). The band reached the worldwide success with a release of their 1989 album Disintergration. The album was supported by such hit singles like Lovesong, Lullaby, Pictures of You and Fascination Street. The next album Wish repeated the success of the previous one yielding such cross-over hits like High and Friday I’m in Love. The band continues releasing new albums and the last one “4:13 Dream” came out in 2008. You can download Cure’s breakthrough albums Disintegration and Wish in mp3 from our site.
