Biography

Chocolate Milk was an American funk, R&B and soul band that was formed in 1974 and the band's line-up consisted of Frank Richard, Amadee Castenell, Jr, Joe Foxx, Robert Dabon, Mario Tio and Dwight Richards. They rose to fame 1976 with their breakthrough self-titled album, which was a huge success in the US. In 1977, they released their following album, We're All in This Together, which was released on the RCA record label. The band is also well known for their hit singles such as "Running Away", "Comin'", "Girl Callin'", "Say Won 'Tcha", "Groove City" and "Hey Lover". Their music style was often considered as a combination of funk and soul with elements of disco sounds. In 1983, the band broke up.
