Buck Owens, birth name Alvis Edgar Owens Jr., born on August 12, 1929 in Sherman, Texas, the United States and died on March 25, 2006 in Bakersfield, California. He was an American country music singer-songwriter. He broke through to the mainstream success at the end of the 1950 and since that time, he remained popular. The first his biggest hit was “Act Naturally”. It reached number 1 on the Billboard Country chart. The song has become a smashing hit and the Beatles and later Ringo Starr recorded cover versions of this songs. He continued his success with such singles like "Love's Gonna Live Here", "I've Got a Tiger By the Tail", "Buckaroo", "Johnny B. Goode" (live) and some others.
