Biography

BossHoss is a German pop/rock and country band that was formed in 2004 by Boss and Hoss and currently consists of Boss Burns (Alec Völkel), Hoss Power (Sascha Vollmer), Sir Frank Doe (Ansgar Freyberg), Hank Williamson (Malcolm Arison / previously Hank Doodle, Mathias Fauvet), Guss Brooks (André Neumann), Russ T. Rocket (Stefan Buehler / previously Russ T. Nail, Dean Micetich). They started with country and western style cover versions of famous songs, such as "Hot in Herre" by Nelly, "Toxic" by Britney Spears and "Hey Ya!" by Outkast. The band also refers to their music style as "Country Trash Punk Rock". In 2006, they released one of their successful albums, Rodeo Radio. After they had released that second album, their first album, Internashville Urban Hymns, rose into the charts again, and became a gold record in Germany.
