Biography

American post-hardcore, indie rock, screamo and post-punk band The Blood Brothers was formed in Seattle, Washington, the United States in 1997. The band was founded by vocalists Jordan Blilie, Johnny Whitney and drummer Mark Gajadhar after their previous band had split. Later bassist Morgan Henderson joined the band and Devin Welch filled the guitarist’s place. They recorded their debut 7” for $200 in a basement following year. Soon Welch was replaced by Cody Votolato and the final band’s line-up was formed. The band cites such acts as their major influences as Botch, Drive Like Jehu, Gang of Four, Antioch Arrow, Angel Hair and some others. The band released five studio albums during its career. They didn’t achieve the mainstream success having number 92 as the best position in charts for their last album Young Machetes. From our site you can download Blood Brothers’ last album in mp3.
