American rapper, DJ and comedian Biz Markie, birth name Marcel Theo Hall, was born on April 8, 1964 in Savage, Maryland, the United States. Biz Markie rose to fame thanks to his single “Just a Friend”. It is a comedic song where Biz Markie fuses rap and singing. The song features his second album The Biz never Sleeps. It reached number 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 5 on the Hot Rap tracks and Hot R&B/Hip-hop songs. This song is the only one, which charted on the Billboard Hot 100. Some other his singles are "Make the Music with Your Mouth", "Vapors", "What Comes Around Goes Around" and others. He has released five studio albums and the last one is “Weekend Warrior” (2003).
