Oliver Stanley Murs, better known as Olly Murs is an English singer-songwriter born on May 14, 1984 in Witham, Essex, he performs in such genres like pop and reggae fusion. He became popular as a contestant of the sixth season of the X Factor. In 2010 he signed a deal with Syco Music and Epic Records. In November 2010 he released his first studio album Olly Murs. The album reached number 2 on the UK Albums chart, number 11 on the Irish chart and number 18 in European Union. The album spawned two hit singles - "Please Don't Let Me Go" and "Thinking of Me".
