Drake, birth name Aubrey Drake Graham was born on October 24, 1986 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He is a Canadian-American R&B, pop and par singer and actor. His mother is Canadian and his father is African-American. He began his acting career in 2001 appearing in the TV series Degrassi: The Next Generation. The series were aired till 2009. He also appeared in other television shows like Soul Food, Instant Star, The Border, Being Erica, Sophie, and in television movies like Conviction, Degrassi Spring Break Movie. As a musician he began his career in 2006 releasing his first mixtape Room for Improvement. The breakthrough mixtape was So Far Gone.
