Rob Swift (birth name Robert Aguilar) is an American hip hop DJ and musician. He was born on October 14, 1977, in Jackson Heights, Queens. He emerged on the American hip hop music scene in the late 1970s with his debut album, Soulful Fruit, which brought a record contract for him. Several years later, he released his first commercially successful album, The Ablist, which yielded the singles, "Modern Day Music", "Two Turntables And A Keyboard", "Fusion Beats", "Alma's Message", "Turntablist Anthem" (feat. Pharoahe Monch) and "Let's Talk Relationships". This record received mainly positive critical acclaim and it included guest appearance of The American Rapper Pharoahe Monch.
