American electronic project Owl City was formed in Owatonna, Minnesota, the US in 2007. The project composes of the one member Adam Young. He began creating his music in his parents’ basement due to insomnia. His tracks became quickly popular on his MySpace profile. Hello Seattle was played for more than 5 million times. During his career Young collaborated with Matt Thiessen, a Reliant K vocalist and with Breanne Duren. The first two records Of June EP and Maybe I’m Dreaming were self-released while the last one Ocean Eyes was released on Universal Republic label.
