German Neue Deutsche Härte band Eisbrecher comes from Fürstenfeldbruck, Germany. The band was formed in 2003 by Alex Wesselsky and Noel Pix who had left Megaherz earlier. The current band’s line-up consists of Alexx Wesselsky (vocals), Noel Pix (lead guitar), Jürgen Plangger (rhythm guitar), "Max "Maximator" Schuar (keyboards, programming), René Greil (drums, percussion) and of Olli Pohl (bass guitar). As the band’s name translated from German as “Icebreaker”, their image is connected with cold and sailors. Wesselsky often appears in sailor t-shirt on the stage or in military uniform. The band’s mottos are Es wird Kalt (it’s getting cold) and Ahoi (Ahoy). They have released three studio albums – Eisbrecher (2003), Antikörper (2006) and Sünde (2008).
