Cage the Elephant is an American alternative rock and indie rock band that was formed in 2005, in Bowling Green, KY, U.S. The group comprises Matt Shultz (Vocals), Brad Shultz (Guitar), Lincoln Parish (Lead Guitar), Daniel Tichenor (Bass, Backing Vocals) and Jared Champion (Drums, Percussion). They achieved mainstream success with their self-titled first album, Cage the Elephant (2008). This album spawned three singles, "Free Love", "In One Ear" and "Ain't No Rest for the Wicked".
